Vocabulary adjectives
They are grammatical elements that serve to give characteristics to people, animals or things. Its function is to offer extra information about the noun of a sentence.
- Happy - Big They are used only for (objects, animals, things, etc)- Sad - Small They are used only for (objects, animals, things, etc)- Hungry - Tall
- Good - Short
- Bad - Pretty- Sleepy - Handsome- Bored - Cute- Afraid - Old
Adverbs: very and so
Sentences
- Keyla is so short
- Yoleimis is very pretty
-Williams is very happy
- Greys is very young
- Verb have (present)
This verb is used to say that we have something. It is also written "has" which means the same thing, the difference is the following:
Examples
"is/are" is not used anymore because it already has the verb "have
"is/are" is not used anymore because it already has the verb "have
- We have a party
- She his a cat
Negative
- We have not a party
We haven´t a party (contractions)
We haven´t a party (contractions)
She has not cat
She hasn´t a cat
Interrogative
The verb "have" goes first.
- Have we a party?
- Has she a cat?
- Has she a cat?
Note: It is important to know adjectives and to know how the verb "have" is used and what it is used for. In this lesson I learned to differentiate the have and the has and to use them in sentences, using the adjectives that are given in class.
