• Nouns:

Nouns are important because they are words referring to people, places, animals, ideas, things, events, substances, or qualities.
There are proper nouns for a specific person, animal or thing, example: Natalia, Barranquilla, Christmas, January.  
There are the common nouns, it is that noun that describes a type of person, thing or place or that names a concept.

Note: It was a very good class, I was able to learn new terms and keep improving English, thanks to the excellent explanation of my teacher I was able to understand everything in an excellent way. I learned to identify the proper nouns and common nouns and differences colors in English.
